Jammu & Kashmir spans two very different climate zones, and pest demand follows them closely.

• Jammu plains (Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, parts of Rajouri and Poonch): hot summers, humid monsoon and lower altitude mean genuine mosquito, cockroach and housefly demand. Goodbye coils, liquid vaporisers and aerosols sell strongly through the summer here.
• Kashmir valley (Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam, Pulwama, Kupwara, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Kulgam): cold, with long snowy winters and short summers. Insecticide demand is seasonal and light, concentrated in the warm months; the rest of the year leans on Habro hygiene, Lovaire air care and Gardenz.
• The valley's horticulture — apples, saffron, gardens — supports steady Gardenz demand, while long indoor winters lift Lovaire air-care off-take.

The Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir has about 1.35 crore people across 20 districts, split between the Jammu division and the Kashmir valley. Jammu city (the winter capital) and Srinagar (the summer capital) are the two commercial anchors, with other key towns at Udhampur, Kathua, Anantnag, Baramulla and Sopore. The economy blends trade, horticulture (apples and saffron), handicrafts and a large seasonal tourism and pilgrimage flow.

Trade is led by the Jammu division, whose plains markets — Jammu city, Udhampur, Kathua — carry the highest FMCG velocity, dense general-trade (GT) kirana and the bulk of insecticide demand. Srinagar anchors valley distribution, with strong tourism and HoReCa demand around Dal Lake, Gulmarg and Pahalgam. Modern trade is limited outside the two capitals. We appoint Jammu-anchored and Srinagar-anchored super-stockists who can service district towns across both divisions, allowing for winter snow-route logistics in the valley.

To distribute the Goodbye insecticide range in Jammu & Kashmir you need a Form VI insecticide dealer licence under the Insecticides Act, 1968, issued by the Jammu & Kashmir Department of Agriculture. Habro hygiene, Gardenz garden care, Lovaire air care, Caesars and Podo are non-insecticide FMCG lines and need only your standard GST and trade registration — no Form VI. Valley distributors focused on air and garden care may operate without a Form VI and add it if they take on Goodbye for the warm season.

Business runs in Hindi and English across the UT, with Urdu as an official language and Dogri widely spoken in Jammu and Kashmiri in the valley. Trade communication is comfortable in Hindi and English. Our packaging and distributor material are provided in Hindi and English.

Ladakh is a high-altitude cold desert and India's most sparsely populated UT, with Leh and Kargil its only real towns. Freezing winters and dry, thin air mean household insecticide demand is very low — a niche, short-summer window at best. The realistic lines here are Habro hygiene and Lovaire air care for homes, guesthouses and Leh's trekking-tourism trade. Ladakh is serviced through our Jammu & Kashmir operation rather than as a standalone territory.
